A bit about me: I am currently a student at Aquinas College in Stockport, studying German, Drama and Film Studies. With tutoring I want to take the skills I have learnt as a swimming teacher and marry them with my love for the subject. I want students to enjoy languages and to feel confident and comfortable with their learning. I tutor German, with a 9(A*) at GCSE and am also on track for an A at A level.

What are my sessions like: I aim for my sessions to be fun and engaging, building confidence in weaker areas, as well as working on preparation for GCSE exams.

My favourite revision method: Past papers are an essential part of revision for me, as they help me to understand the types of questions that come up, as well the content. I also like to use quiz websites like Quizlet and Anki.

Next steps: I plan on going to university to study Modern languages and then seeing where that takes me.

Tutoring mantra: Tutoring should be something you enjoy, not something you dread doing. It’s about growing your confidence within a subject.

Hobbies: I play DnD and read for fun. I also work as a swimming teacher with Trafford Leisure and volunteer with my local scouts for my Duke of Edinburgh.
