A bit about me: Hi, Iām Daisy. I am currently studying Biology, Maths and Geography at A-level and I am thoroughly enjoying it, studying these subjects at A-level has allowed me to gain a greater understanding of the subjects that I love and that interest me. I achieved a grade 8 (A/A*) in each of these at GCSE.
What sessions are like: My sessions aim to make learning fun and to build confidence in their subjects, I aim to create a positive experience in these sessions and to heavily focus on weaker topics.
Favourite revision method: My favourite revision method is blurting and exam questions because blurting helps me visualise all the information and steps I need to know before applying them to exam questions. Exam questions also allow me to learn the mark schemes to know what i need to write in an exam in order to get full marks.
Next steps: After my A-levels I would like to take a gap year to go travelling and then go onto studying Biology or Physiotherapy at Nottingham University.
Tutoring mantra: My mantra is to empower students and to be resilient when learning as mistakes are a key driver to success.
Hobbies: In my free time I enjoy playing netball competitively, which I have been playing for 9 years, and I love to listen to music.
