Our tutors typically use Zoom as a preferred platform due to their integrated, easy to use whiteboard and screen sharing capabilities, and also because lots of students will have become familiar with the platform during Covid-19.

Typically the payment method is bank transfer, which can be a standing order or a standalone transfer after receiving your next invoice. We are happy to make alternative arrangements for those who struggle with a bank transfer.

If it is an online class, simply email help@stepuptutoring.co and let us know at least 4 hours before your class start time for a full refund. Due to them being dependant on your attendance, we request you let your tutor know if you can’t attend a 1-2-1 or group session at least 24 hours before your session start time to reschedule (where possible) or receive a full refund. The default length of sessions and classes are 1 hour, however the duration of them can change if the length does not suit or you want extra time tutoring. Prices are subject to change if the duration is not 1 hour.

Of course! If you want to switch from a group session to a 1-2-1 or the other way round, then we are more than happy to accommodate. Just get in touch with your tutor and they will discuss the way forwards with you. If you want to change from receiving online classes to 1-2-1s or group sessions, find a tutor you like, and get started by booking a free introductory session!
