Biology Tutor, Chemistry Tutor, Maths Tutor

A bit about me: Hi, my name is Robyn Dilley-Markwick, I am currently studying A level biology, chemistry and mathematics at Aquinas college. I achieved a grade 9 (A*) in each of these subjects at GCSE and thoroughly enjoyed them.

What sessions are like: My sessions will vary for different students, focusing on improving any weak topics and then trying questions to ensure the student fully understands before moving on. I aim for my sessions to be enjoyable and productive.

Favourite revision method: My favourite revision method is past papers and exam style questions because i feel that it is the best way to apply the knowledge you have learnt whilst also improving exam technique. Going over mark schemes for these past papers is also a good way to highlight any weaknesses that need extra attention.

Next steps: After I finish studying my a levels I hope to take a gap year to travel and then go on to university. I am not sure what university I would like to go to yet.

Tutoring mantra: My mantra is that learning should challenge you but should also be fun, not everyone gets things the first time and it’s practice that will help you improve and enjoy your subject.

Hobbies: In my free time I enjoy sports: tennis, hockey and netball. Netball is my favourite and I have been playing competitively with my friends for 9 years.
