A bit about me: I’m Mia and this is my first year of tutoring. I am from Austria and offer tutoring in German, in which I got a 9 (A*) at GCSE. I’ve grown up bilingual in German and English as my mum is Austrian and I lived just outside of Vienna myself.

What are my sessions like: My sessions will focus on building confidence in the subject, as well as talking through problems to nurture independence. I aim to tailor my sessions to your individual needs, combining challenges and fun.

My favourite revision method: I think past paper questions and blurting work very well as they easily highlight strengths and weaknesses. Past and predicted papers work especially well because they provide predictions of standards you face in actual exams.

Next steps: I am studying Mathematics, German and Classical Civilisation at Xaverian College.
Tutoring mantra: Practice Makes Progress is my tutoring mantra, as i believe consistency is key to improvement.

Hobbies: I’ve been playing volleyball for Stockport Volleyball Club for 4 years. I also enjoy art and drawing.
