A bit about me: I am currently studying my A Levels in 3D-design, Maths, Physics with a AS in Further Maths at Aquinas College in Stockport where I am currently predicted an A in both maths and physics. Having been tutored myself at GCSE in maths, I understand all the difference a great tutor can make, not just to your grades but also your confidence. I tutor maths and physics in which I achieved an 8(A/A*) in maths and a 9-8(A*/A) in combined science. I hope to instil enjoyment of their subjects into a student, whilst also creating a fun and comfortable learning environment where they can grow their resilience and confidence.
What are my sessions like: My sessions focus on building up a students confidence and resilience in preparation for their GCSE exams. Every session is tailored for a student to focus on their individual needs and weak spots while also balancing their right amount of challenges with the right amount of fun.
My favourite revision method: Doing past or predicted papers in exam conditions works best for me, as it helps me to understand the phrasing of exam questions and their increased level of difficulty that is to be expected in my exams. This method also helps to identify any gaps in my knowledge, so I can go back and revise that content.
Next steps: after finishing my A Levels, I hope to go to uni to study a integrated masters in Physics.
Tutoring mantra: Consistency is key! By working away at questions and learning from mistakes, you slowly increase your confidence and skill set in order to achieve the best you can in your GCSEs.
Hobbies: I enjoy hiking and rock climbing. I also enjoy reading!
